Ten ways to know that you are from NKSTPP: Here are ten indelible signs, any one of which identifies that you are from NTPC North Karanpura.

01. A major part of your mind is always obsessed with scheduling & rescheduling of tasks. Every night before you turn to bed your mind automatically recalculates & reschedules the pending jobs, many times which is for all the jobs! And the more you have been lived in NKSTPS, the more you have mastered this skill even unconsciously!

02. You do earn a good salary but the food you buy, the plater you eat is controlled by the only serving hotel in 50 kilometer radius here, is the ICH and you hardly have any choice. 

03. The superbly decorated & picturesque Enabling Township of NKSTPP is no less than any tinsel town and the greatest news of this tinsel town is the ATM is really dispensing your legitimate cash and you run overjoyed for cash withdrawal.

04. In any NTPC or for that matter in any government organization, procedure takes time but if it is in NKSTPP it stretches 200% more. Here we do value more due diligence.

05. Everybody do possess a car here but nobody dares to drive around because you know to the core of your heart that your car is no match for the trademark roads of North Karanpura. Its all “coal roads” here!

06. Bankers hate this place and the NKSTPP is the only NTPC place where any serving bank has yet arrived.

07. NKSTPP is the place where you have a post office but hardly you have ever received any post from this office and Amazon does not like to deliver you here! Therefore, F9 Guesthouse of Ranchi is your another address.

08  Roads of NKSTPP changes their openings every now & then therefore, it never matters which side of the road you are driving as long as you are not driving / hitting onto someone!  And you always drive extra carefully!

09. One corner of your mind always dreams that soon you will be on the farewell list as you have just got transferred from NKSTPP!

 Netarhat Trip So, four of my buddies, including me and three fellow retirees (plus one who’s about to join the club in six months), decided to zoom off to Netarhat, Jharkhand in my new car! This trip has been in the works for a while, though a few of our original group had to bail for various reasons.   One Night at Durgadih Eco Resort It all started with Debanu's suggestion—a simple plan to escape to a nearby resort for a weekend getaway with all our friends. The essentials were clear: good food, drinks for the big boys, and a scenic backdrop to relax in. Since it was a nearby location and just a weekend trip, we expected most of our friends to join. We quickly shortlisted a few places, some only a few tens of kilometers away. However, when I contacted them, the prices turned out to be heavily inflated, and none of the options could accommodate our group size.
